Our relationship with the TCNJ magazine staff began in 2013, when Dog Ear was hired to consult on a fresh approach to the content and design of select feature sto-ries in their spring 2014 issue. We were later hired to lead a full redesign, which launched with the fall 2014 issue. We created a new editorial struc-ture, a more conversational voice, and a refreshed design. Those original elements of the redesign remain largely intact today—and they helped earn TCNJ magazine the 2017 CASE Magazine of the Year.
